Chapter 10 Engine working conditions and features Section 3 Load feature 2.Load Feature of Diesel Engine Under the condition of a certain engine rotational speed, the relationship of fuel consumption per hour, effective fuel consumption rate with the changes of the load is known as the load feature of diesel engine. Under the conditions of certain rotational speed and the same amount of air entering the cylinder, the corresponding change of the change in load is the fuel supply per cycle,so that the mixture composition changes. Diesel engine adapts to changes in the load by changing the composition of the mixture, and the method of load adjustment is called"quality adjustment." 2.1 Curve of fuel consumption rate Fuel consumption rate and indicated efficiency, mechanical efficiency is inversely proportional relationship.
