This course covers the history of the Middle East from ancient to modern times, including the evolution of ancient history in the Middle East, the rise of Islamic civilization and the formation of the Islamic civilization circle, the evolution of modern and contemporary history in the Middle East, the rise and fall of Arab nationalism, and the development and evolution of the Arab-Israeli conflict. This course will focus on learning about the history, religion, politics, and other aspects of the Middle East region, helping students better understand the historical development and current political situation in the region. The difficulty is to combine theoretical knowledge with historical knowledge, and apply theories such as nationalism, nation-state building, modernization, and the relationship between religion and secularism to the analysis of historical and practical issues in the Middle East.
