Course Descrip Professional English is a basic course for the logistics major, which focuses on the use of English to accomplish the relevant business tasks in all aspects of logistics, aiming to develop students'English communication skills in logistics practice and provide a better adaptability to the internationalization of logistics. The course is to expand the professional vocabularies of students and improve the reading peed, translation skills of the original documents and students' listening and oral English level. The course is a very practical professional course that adapts to the needs of students'employment and internationalization of logistics and concentrates on the development of professional English listening and speaking skills. Students will be able to master basic logistics professional vocabularies, common English abbreviations, international trade terms, foreign trade document formats, as well as a certain eading ability of logistics English literature and daily conversation skills 3. Suggestions for choice of the course This course is very well suited for senior students majoring in Logistics Management Basic knowledge of Logistics Management is required This course is rigorous and learners are expected to dedicate 8 weeks of study, 3-4 hours/week
