人造草坪的发展 20世纪60~70年代，在欧美国家逐渐发展。 1975年，国际曲棍球联合会规定曲棍球比赛一定要在人造 草坪上举行。 1981年，英国第一次在职业足球赛中使用人造草坪。2005 年时英超职业足球联盟仍禁止在比赛场地使用人造草坪。 2003年，美国大约新建了400个人造草坪球场，而2005年， 则上升到了550个。(D.Gi,2004) 国内最早于80年代末引进人造草坪，直到90年代中后期才 得到大面积的推广。为学校运动场地建造的标准模式 (人造草坪+塑胶跑道)
