Vilppu Figure Drawing Demonstrations Step-by-Step 具有版權的資料
Introduction In this book,I address the basic difficulty that many students have in class as well as in studying from reproductions of drawings. In class,I demonstrate both to the class as a whole and individually by doing drawings showing each step in the process, just as I have in my Drawing Manual. Still,I find that even as the student watches me doing the drawing,it is difficult to remember all of the steps that went before the finished drawing. The use of a tablet computer now allows me to save and show each of the steps,so that the student can go back to the beginning as many times as needed.A good way to use this book is to copy the drawings step by step. Not all of the drawings are done the same way,yet the basic logic of the process is consistent.First you get the total, and then as you develop the drawing you use simple volumes as guides to the application of detail to further explain and communicate the total.Often, several steps are done at the same time or simply accomplished in the description of the forms Remember, there are no rules, just tools, and style is a matter of a personal artistic intent. The frosting doesn't make the cake,so strive for a solid foundation.Basics are the advanced subject of drawing,as well as life! Use this book as a supplement to my Vilppu Drawing Manual and the DVDs of classroom lectures and demonstrations. The combination of materials available gives the student a consistent approach that can be applied to any situation where visual thinking is required. The drawings vary from simple quick sketches with only a couple of steps to complicated finished drawings. All of the drawings were done in class as demonstrations on a Toshiba Portege tablet computer.
