course aims to help student understand the Marxist view of religion that religion has the objective laws of its emergence, development, and extinction; gain a correct understanding of the social and cognitive foundations of the emergence and development of religion; have a correct understanding of the social nature and social role of religion; correctly understand the popular issues of religion in countries along the "One Belt, One Road"; fully understand the religious theories and policies of the Party and China, and build up the correct worldview and values.
