Untreated waste water and polluted surface runoff was discharged directly into the canal system • Existing agricultural practice damaged natural wetland system and brings excessive nutrients to the adjacent water bodies • Dongyun Jie, elevated light rail line 11 and on grade expressway A5 created physical and visual barriers in connecting with adjacent open spaces • F1 circuit to the west, expressway A5 and light rail line 11 creates major noise impact to the site • Potential contamination in the existing factory buildings and sites may require remediation before they become part of a public park
