Editors Explanatory Notes The China-ASEAN Expo(CAEXPO) is co-sponsored by China and the 1l AsEan countries as well as the asean Secretariat. The people's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is the party to hold CAEXPO activities The CAEXPO as the international forum aims at promoting reciprocal commodity trade is an annual event convened in Nanning, Guangxi, China. Since 2004, both the CAEXPO and China- asean Business and Investment Summit have been successfully staged for ll years in a row. Numerous significant achievements have been made. Aim at helping investors, exhibitors and trade visitors get a better understanding of economic and social development of China and AsEAN countries, thus to promote investment cooperation and commodity trade, the International Statistical Information Center of NBS and Survey Office of NBS in Guangxi decide to jointly compile the Statistical Manual of china-ASEAN Countries from 2012. The 2015 edition is the fourth one I. The illustrations(charts, graphs, and diagrams)is effectively and widely employed in the Manual to present the economic and social indicators of 11 countries( China, 10 ASEAN countries), along with a region named Guangxi Beibu Gulf
