Definition Anterior crossbites indicates that in the central occlusion,anterior teeth present reversed overbite and reversed overjet. It may be caused by the improper inclination of the maxillary and mandibular incisors, occlusal interferences(functional),or skeletal discrepancies of the maxilla or the mandible. ◇

Normal Occlusion the mesiobuccal cusp of the upper first molar is received in the sulcus between the mesial and distal buccal cusps of the lower first molar. The mesial incline of the upper canine occludes with the distal incline of the lower canine;the distal incline of the upper canine occludes with the mesia incline of the buccal cusp of the lower first premolar
