SustainableAnd ContextThe Guangzhou People's Park is one ofthe longest history among the parks inthe city. The original site was the oldgovernment office of the dynastiesfrom the Sui dynasty to the late Qingdynasty. In 1917 proposed by Mr.SunZhongshan, the site was built into apark, named "The first Park" It wasdesigned by engineer Yang Xizong whcstudied abroad on France. The projectof building the park was finished in1918. From 1923 to 1924, SunZhongshan and Premier Zhou had everpublished speeches here. The name wasaltered to "Central Park" in 1926
