He received a bachelor's Culture degree in economics from the University of British Columbia in 1928, a master' s degree in economics from the University of Culture shock Pittsburgh, and his Ph D from the University of Chicago. Oberg had numerous teaching positions in his career, but never a Group discussion permanent position. After his employment with the government, Oberg returned to teaching at Cornell University, the University of Southen Califomia, and also Oregon State University.
